Sufna is a Hong Kong born artist whose work is informed by a life shaped across multiple cultures and geographies. Having trained and worked in New York, Switzerland, the Philippines, and Japan, her practice reflects a considered balance between global influence and personal narrative. She is currently based in Sint Maarten, where her surroundings play a central role in her recent body of work.

Her paintings explore themes of culture, identity, memory, and belonging, translated through a refined use of color, texture, and layered composition. Drawing inspiration from the Caribbean's natural light, coastal landscapes, and human presence, her work captures both a sense of place and an emotional resonance that extends beyond it.

Color is approached as an intentional and expressive element, guiding mood and depth within each piece. Sufna's process is intuitive yet disciplined, resulting in works that feel both contemporary and timeless. Each painting is created with attention to narrative and longevity, offering collectors pieces that hold meaning, atmosphere, and lasting visual presence.
